Dave Owens has over thirty years of experience as a counselor. Mr. Owens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois with dual Master’s Degrees in Social Work (MSW) and Human Relations (MA). Additionally he maintains advanced levels in Guided Imagery, Conscious Connected Intigrative Breath Work, and Hypnotherapy.

What I do in my practice:

A crisis is emotional, physical, and spiritual. This is an opportunity to learn how to truly forgive and release dysfunctional thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that no longer serve you.

Life is a journey of change and evolution. We can do this through fear or wisdom. It is a choice.

You can have the latest in air and water filters, ingest healthy food and take vitamin supplements, go to a massage therapist or an energy worker, see a chiropractor, partake of aroma therapy, and attend yoga and Pilates classes. But if your inner life is dysfunctional (That is, you live in the past thinking about how people hurt you. Or bad things always happen to you.), it will help very little. I will explain.
